Our intensive learning model is designed to fast-track your learning as well as your career. Graduate in as little as two years studying on a part-time basis by completing six courses a year, one course at a time.

Intakes every two months
Start studying in any one of our six intakes throughout the year. You only study one course at a time across each seven-week study period, meaning your learning is consolidated and focused. Fit your coursework into your life – not the other way around.
The online Master of Engineering (Management) is designed for skilled engineers and entrepreneurs who want to advance their careers and prepare for the challenges of leadership in engineering and technology-based organisations.
The program is composed of practical and industry-relevant courses, and the knowledge you gain can be applied immediately to impact your career and organisation. The available courses include Building Quality Organisations, Performance Management Foundations, Engineering Economic Strategy and International Engineering Management, for example, and are delivered by experienced academics who are also connected and renowned industry leaders.
Unlike other management programs, the Master of Engineering (Management) delivers a tailored qualification specific to the needs of the growing engineering sector.

The RMIT Online Master of Engineering (Management) program is comprised of 12 core courses, of which two are research projects.

RMIT Online postgraduate students must meet minimum academic requirements, and international students must have a proficient level of English. You can find more details below.

An Australian Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering Science or Bachelor of Engineering, at AQF8 level or equivalent, in any engineering discipline, or a Bachelor of Business, at AQF8 level or equivalent, in any business discipline, with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of equal to or greater than 2.0 out of 4.0. Applicants with a GPA less than 2.0 out of 4.0 may be considered on a case-by-case basis, with consideration given to at least two years' relevant work experience in engineering or business; or

International qualifications are assessed for equivalence with the above Australian Qualifications Framework qualifications.
International students are required to provide current evidence of English language proficiency for admission to RMIT University. Australian Student Visas
RMIT's online Master of Engineering (Management) does not meet Australian student visa requirements. For an Australian student visa, you must have an on-campus place in a program of study. For more details on RMIT's on-campus programs, visit rmit.edu.au.
Recognition of Prior Learning
RMIT assesses each student’s prior learning and qualifications to grant credit so you can complete your online postgraduate degree sooner. Your application will be decided on a case-by-case basis. RMIT aims to grant as much credit as possible at the time of offer, so it’s important to provide as much evidence of prior study and work experience as possible with your application.
