No, you are not required to have a bachelor degree in marketing or business – to be eligible for the program, you can have a bachelor degree in any discipline. Having completed a bachelor degree in a cognate discipline within the past 10 years will, however, reduce the number of courses you need to complete from 16 courses to 12 courses.
A completed bachelor degree is usually required for you to be eligible for the masters degree directly. However, if you haven't received your award due to a delayed graduation ceremony, you can apply for this program on the basis of a Letter of Completion, which is equivalent to a testamur.
Combined with your work experience, this qualification can lead to mid-level senior and marketing leadership roles, such as Marketing Manager, Director and Chief Marketing Officer. Depending on your career aspirations, the Master of Marketing can also equip you to break out on your own and start your own marketing business or consultancy.
Our focus is always on taking a practical approach to assessments so that learning is fun and practicable. We have various types of assessments which we call ABLE (Action-Based Learning). This includes research reports, case study analysis and pop up quizzes.
